The good folks at biking world are carrying some stuff about the TVS Apache RTR180 ABS. The stuff we’re talking about are the specifications of the ABS system that will make it onto the RTR180. What we find difficult to fathom is the modest increase in price of the ABS version when compared to the non ABS version of the Apache RTR180, which at INR 3000 seems a little too inexpensive to be taken seriously.
In comparision, the C-ABS system that the 2011 Honda CBR250R will come with is a full INR 30,000 costlier than the non ABS version. So, the pricing bit still remains a grey area although it would a be a terrific feat of sorts if TVS Motors does indeed manage to price the ABS version of the Apache RTR180 at just INR 3,000 over the non ABS variant.
